Race Street Pier

Opened on May 12, 2011, the Race Street Pier provides visitors with amazing views of the Ben Franklin Bridge and the Delaware River waterfront. It has two levels, a upper and lower level for visitors to enjoy. It stretches 540 feet into the Delaware River and it’s 80 feet wide.

It is very eco-friendly with 37 white oak trees, 200 LED Solar Light Blocks embedded in the pavent, the upper level is paved with TREX decking, and lots of greenery.  My wife, my son and I visited the Pier on Memorial day and was very impressed with the structure and the presentation of the Pier. Here are some pictures I took while visiting the Pier. For more information the Race Street Pier you can visit their website by clicking here.
